Flourish Death Cafe

Join us as gather to discuss all things death and dying with other curious people.

This is not a group therapy session, but a time for gentle questioning and discussing of a bridge that we will all eventually cross. This is a safe and held container where all are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited to 20 participants and registration is required in order to attend.

  • FAQs:

    • Who is this for?

      • Anyone that would like to talk about death and dying and our cultural norms, traditions, and understandings of it.  This is a friendly welcoming space to all.

    • Do I have to have known someone that died or is dying in order to attend?

      • No.  This space is open to all, regardless of whatever your own personal experience of death may be.

    • How much does it cost?

      • There is a suggested donation of $25 to help us support the facilitators, the space at Flourish Foundation, and perhaps most importantly, purchase snacks.

      • While many of Flourish’s programs are offered freely to participants thanks to generous donors, some offerings use a tiered-based price model. Our aspiration is to ensure that all who wish to participate are able to and that we can continue to run a vital, sustainable organization to serve this community for a long time!

      • Please reflect on both the value you will personally receive from this experience and your current financial reality to support how much you decide to give.

      • Price Range: $0-$50
