Kelley Weston

Kelley Weston joined the Board of Flourish Foundation in 2023. He has a long-term contemplative practice centered on a direct experience and love of the natural world, which he learned from his parents growing up in the mountains of Colorado. Kelley studied world religions, Chinese language, and Environmental Studies during his time at university and has continued those studies over the last 40 years, practicing directly with well-known Buddhist teachers and studying the works of a wide range of other contemplative and faith traditions. He has helped to found and establish four non-profit organizations focused on sustainable agriculture and environmental protection. He worked as a native landscape designer for 35 years and recently retired. Kelley believes that the health of the human community and our personal well-being depends on inner transformation and works to integrate his love of the natural world with the needs of human beings to flourish. He is a father of two boys, a grandfather of 3 grandchildren, and has been married for 43 years.
