Mindful Awareness Facilitator

Cara Liberatore

Cara grew up outside Pittsburgh, PA surrounded by family and forests. As a child and teen, she began consciously experiencing how bringing awareness to and taking ownership of her actions and words gifted her and others an effective sustainable means to navigate life rooted in empathy and compassion. She graduated from Boston University with a BA in Environmental Studies. Following her passion to work, live, and play in the mountains, she moved out West and has called Montana, Wyoming and now Idaho her home for the past two decades.

Professionally, Cara celebrates her life passions as an instructor for Cornell University’s online whole food plant-based nutrition, a Flourish facilitator of mindful awareness classes, and a rock climbing guide in the Teton and Sawtooth Ranges.  Personally, she feeds her body, heart, and soul through domestic and international cultural travel, working with children, engaging in daily outdoor pursuits, and interfacing with community as a volunteer.   As a devoted mother, she honors and embraces parental challenges in the same light as rewards.  She welcomes the essence of interconnectedness and while recognizing the power of positivity says, “Cheers to life”!
